Why did Prince Caspian have a british accent in the voyage of the Dawn Treader ?
That was simply a decision of the director Michael Apted. He didn’t like how the Telmarines were depicted as Mediterranean and just thought it’d be simpler to use native accents for the actors, for the most part. It really was just an arbitrary decision, though. How it came across really is your perspective.
